Hanxing Liu

Hanxing Liu is the chair professor of Materials Science and Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology. He had been in various leadership positions in the last fifteen years: Executive dean of International School of Materials Science and Engineering（2016-2022），Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering (2005-2016), Director of Advanced Materials Research Institute (2001-2005), etc. He worked as a visiting professor at Electronic Engineering Department, Yale University (2002-2003), and Materials Research Institute, Pennsylvania State University (2012-2013). His Research work is a blend of the Chemistry, Physics of Ceramics, which focuses on materials with interesting and/or useful electrical properties. The research programs are broadly-based and cover a wide variety of topics which supported by Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC), Ministry of Education(MOE) etc. One co-authored books；over 400 SCI publications, in total. Co-inventor of 30 patents (in China).
